Zaps Zapped!

It looks like Boston's beloved Polish fast-food joint ZAPS is out of business. And it's a shame, as we were just getting familiar with the cheesy treats.

ZAPS brought the Polish street food "zapiekanka" to America, as a cheaper and fresher alternative to the Subways and Quiznos of the world. The "ZAP" is a tasty hybrid between a french-bread pizza and an open-faced melt, and it was perfect for late-night college student munching.

R.I.P ZAPS -- you will be missed.
